Feature in WV Living Magazine | Summer 2017 edition

Construction was completed in 2015 on Muddy Creek in Preston County, WV for the Muddy Creek Recreation Club Inc. In the Summer 2017 edition of WV Living Magazine featured Green Rivers’ work on this project. To read the full article please follow the link above.

The Green Rivers team was able to stabilize continuous bank erosion and river migration using combination wood-rock structures, following Natural Stream Design (NSD) principles. Green Rivers has been asked by the Muddy Creek Recreation Club Inc. to continue our work further downstream to, again, increase fish and benthic habitat. The construction of the second reach is scheduled to begin in 2019.
