The Mountaineer Mitigation Bank is located on the WVU Animal Husbandry Farm in Morgantown, WV. The streams and adjacent wetlands have been heavily impacted by livestock access. In collaboration with the Smith Outdoor Economic Development Collaborative, potential trails will be proposed within and adjacent to the Conservation Easement. This project is in its preliminary phase with plans to place instream structures to help control erosion and sedimentation.
